My greatest fear is simple
I’m sure you’ll understand
To leave no mark upon the world
No footprints on the land
To have my name forgotten
To be cut down in my prime
To never have existed
A whisper lost in time
I toss a coin into a well
Hold my wish in my heart
Forget me not
Though one day we must part
When the earth has taken me
And my bones are but dust
Cast your eyes to the stars
And remember me, my love.
